Nirvana's Kurt Cobain Inspired 'The Batman'
In recent days, the first glimpses of 'The Batman', the new "Dark Knight" movie, have given a lot to talk about among Internet users and the media, thanks to the interpretation of this character in the hands of Robert Pattinson, which was revealed, is inspired by the personality of Kurt Cobain, the late singer and vocalist of Nirvana.
In the history of cinema, various efforts have been made to bring this superhero or anti-hero from the comics to the big screen, depending on the perspective from which it is seen, and soon we will be able to enjoy one more thanks to 'The Batman' by Matt Reeves.
The director who has worked on films like 2017's 'Planet of the Apes: War' and 'Cloverfield: Monster' will now imprint his cinematographic perspective on the new big screen adaptation of this vigilante.
What has most caught the attention of the first trailer for 'The Batman' is the somber character of the setting and the role played by Robert Pattinson and although it has not been influenced precisely by an icon of Gothic culture, the rebelliousness and bleak ideology of Kurt Cobain, who made Nirvana a grunge legend at the turn of the last century.

This is how Nirvana and Kurt Cobain inspired 'The Batman'
This was revealed by filmmaker Matt Reeves during a recent interview for Esquire magazine, published in its North American edition, where he spoke about the inspirations behind the story and the construction of the new Bruce Wayne, the same talk that revealed the most music-loving side of the creator. :
"That's when I started to make a connection between the Gus Van Sant from 'Last Days' and the idea of this version of Kurt Cobain being in this kind of decaying mansion," Matt Reeves concluded.
'The Batman' is expected to hit theaters around the world on March 4, 2022. Are you waiting for it now that you know its connection to Nirvana? Leave us your comments and remember to follow us on our social networks for more information about your favorite artists.
