The Italian motorcycle equipment firm Racered pours its experience into textile production in search of a high level of safety.

Racered has combined protection, comfort and transalpine style in the development of equipment for motorcyclists through a collection of jeans for everyday wear. After coming across motorcycle clothing made from old, heavy fabrics that did not offer the best comfort or safety, Fabrizio Talini set to work to make his dream of designing his own proprietary fibers and fabrics come true. Thus, the founder of Racered worked with the objective of creating a motorcycle collection with the perfect mix of safety, comfort and style.

Today, with 35 years of experience, it has managed to establish itself in the market with a 100% “Made in Italy” craft manufacturing, precisely executing all the production processes and thus offering articles that are only possible by mixing the textile production with a passion for riding a motorcycle.

Complete production process

Racered analyzes each process in the long production chain: from the design and manufacture of each thread, the creation of the fabric and weaving of each of the fibers used, going through for the pattern making, cutting and sewing by hand of each piece, up to the color process and final finishing.

The current collection presents only CE-approved jeans, which have been approved in exhaustive laboratory resistance tests against abrasion, impact and tear, carried out in accordance with the technical requirements FprEN 17092:2019, obtaining the highest certifications A, AAA and AAA. Thus, the new models of AAA single-layer pants that Racered incorporates into its collection have been made by combining the best thermo-regulating natural fibers and latest-generation synthetic fibers. An ultra-resistant and approved garment with qualities that guarantee the highest protection of the pants set (fabric, pockets and protections), and not only in the points necessary to pass the tests.

Removable protections

The pants are equipped with removable knee and hip SAS-TEC level 2 (maximum security) protections made from German technology, with CE certification. In the case of women's pants, the hip protections are level 1 to continue the female figure, achieving the greatest protection without neglecting comfort or a flattering fit. The technology used in the protections allows continuous flexibility that is only locked in the event of an impact, quickly returning to its original flexibility. For times when you're not riding a motorcycle, discreet pockets have been incorporated to make it easier to put on or remove these protections, with access from the outside for knee protectors and internal pockets for hip protectors.

Those who do not need the highest level of security for short trips have a wide variety of jeans, in their A and AA certifications with a multilayer system: pants with interior reinforced with DuPont™ Kevlar®, a strong and light material with superior abrasion resistance.
