Movember is the name given to the annual event focused on men's health. It is named for a mixture of the English words for mustache (mustache) and November. With the aim of raising awareness about issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, depression or suicide, many men trim their facial hair during the month to make these problems visible.
Recognized brands usually join this movement and one of them has surprised by announcing the first suit made with mustache hair. This is the Australian sewing company Politix, an expert in men's clothing.
It has been created with local Melbourne artist Pamela Kleeman-Passi and has been called the 'Mo-Hair suit'. Pamela has confessed in the presentation of the suit that she has been involved in this project for very personal reasons: her husband died of prostate cancer in 2016.

With the help of the Sustainable Salons association, he has made the fabric with cotton and recycled hair collected from numerous hairdressers in the area. House designer Paul Burden transformed this fabric into a single-breasted jacket and trousers ensemble.
In addition, so that it is not uncomfortable to wear, he added a printed lining with articles on mental health problems that affect men. The final piece will not be marketed, of course, because, as the author herself says, it is a bit "unpleasant".
"When the hair is on the head, it's very pretty. But when it's off the body it immediately becomes gross, repulsive, it really gives people the creeps," Kleeman-Passi said. "I'm interested in the polarity between what's really voluptuous and what's really repulsive."
