VIDEO: Putting up with clients, sun, rudeness… hostesses confess what their job is like
Promoting products and brands is not always satisfactory. Hostesses talk about the myths and realities of their work. They ask the police to stop harassing them.
Mexico City, November 17.- Some brands hire hostesses to promote themselves, however, a series of prevailing prejudices have developed around this work over time and prevent us from seeing the work carried out by those who are dedicated to it.
In a video, youtuber Yulay interviews three hostesses who confessed what the myths and realities of their jobs are, including how they are classified by recruitment agencies that categorize them in A, AA, AAA based on their beauty standards and most must measure above 1.70.
The pay depends on what "A" the agency categorizes the model for, for example, an A hostess earns between 200 to 300 pesos an hour, an AAA can charge up to 3,500 pesos an hour, depending on the event. Most work four hours per event
