What are the reasons to cancel the IMSS 40 mode and avoid reaching a pension of up to 50,000 pesos
With the so -called voluntary continuation pension of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), a person has the possibility of accessing a pension of up to 50,000 pesos.However, there are some reasons why they could unsubscribe.
It is an option to pension, but only in case it has been quoted within the 73 regime, that is, before July 1, 1997. As its name says, it allows the user to make voluntary contributions to inflate his pension, which can reach attractive results, since it authorizes up to 25 minimum wages per month.

*Que el asegurado sea dado de alta o haya reingresado al régimen obligatorio.

De acuerdo con el IMSS, el asegurado deberá elegir el salario en el que desea cotizar, el cual podrá ser mayor o igual al que tenía registrado al momento de la baja en el régimen obligatorio, siempre y cuando éste no rebase el límite superior de 25 veces el salario mínimo general que rija.
Al registrar los 25 salarios mínimos al mes, se obtendrá una pensión de hasta 50,000 pesos, monto máximo que estableció el Instituto.
