Deputy promotes the export of products from Veracruz to Dubai
*Citlali Medellin links local entrepreneurs with the foreign market.
01/27/2022/ Xalapa, Ver.- The richness, diversity and quality of Veracruz products have an extraordinary showcase at Expo Dubai 2022 that should be made the most of, recognized Deputy Citlali Medellín Careaga, while leading a meeting with businessmen local and, electronically, with Mexican managers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to promote the participation of Veracruz in the Week of Agroindustry in that country.
The legislator, President of the Permanent Commission for Municipal Development and Strengthening of the LXVI local Legislature, managed to gather thirty businessmen and women and state authorities in the Irene Bourell Peralta room of the Legislative Palace to open a commercial route that represents new opportunities for the state economy.
Medellín Careaga expressed his confidence that, once certified, products from Veracruz such as vanilla and coffee will be at the Expo and in other agribusinesses around the world. For the Secretariat of Economic and Port Development (Sedecop), the Undersecretary of Industry, Investment Attraction, Foreign Trade and Strategic Projects Ricardo Mancisidor Landa, and the Director of Foreign Trade, Luis Cuevas Padilla, expressed the institutional interest in making available of the entrepreneurs the accompaniment and support to speed up the procedures for those who are interested in participating.
The Undersecretary of Rural Development, Agribusiness and Infrastructure of the Secretariat of Agricultural, Rural and Fisheries Development (Sedarpa), Juan Posada Pérez, offered inter-institutional collaboration in this joint effort to, with Sedecop, reinforce the work of industrialists with a view to exporting , so that they take ownership of the production process.

Municipal Development and Strengthening Commission meets
That same day, in session, the Permanent Commission for Municipal Development and Strengthening, made up of deputies Citlali Medellín Careaga and Gisela López López, and by legislator Bonifacio Castillo Cruz, president, secretary and member, respectively, declared the City Council's request admissible of Tamiahua, Veracruz, regarding the creation of its Municipal Institute for Sustainable Development Planning, as a decentralized municipal body.
After the signing of the corresponding opinion, it was instructed to send it to the Presidency of this Congress for information and so that it can be incorporated, for discussion and possible voting, in some upcoming session.
