The Nation El Paraguay as a party spot

We knew that 2022 was coming with the heat of the electoral contest by 2023.The internal ones, especially in the Colorado Party, and the articulation of the fragmented opposition among many interested in sitting in López's chair configure a great challenge for the parliamentary agenda, perhaps the most important scenario in the definition of many issues that interest usas citizens to be able to build a different country.

Already the Sanitary Emergency Law showed us what the scenario we will face will be like.Historically it is not the first time we have this challenge.We have had more than once in the past, but I rescue the recipe that we follow in some way even in the worst scenarios.

The country's economic agenda had no active political impact.We saw how those responsible for the execution of the Economic Development Agend.This practice was, in our criteria, really positive.Because it allowed that after very difficult elections the country can continue with its economic and active economic engines, so that it enabled two decades of improvements in many indices.

We are seeing in the present a different scenario, with an incipient street fighting circus where everything goes to discredit, be it the work or the result of the opponent with the sole objective of annulling it electorally.And this has become almost an act of self -staining within the party that holds power such as the Colorado Party.

This battle, which was latent throughout the period of the current government, has taken little beneficial directions for the serious Paraguay and that is projected abroad as a possible place of safe investment in the face of so much regional deterioration.But it is notorious how in this process it does not matter how much damage it is done to the image of the country, in order to harm the conjunctural contender in this period, aggravating our start in 2022.Year that will be difficult at a climate situation that just canceled almost 50% to one of the most important engines of the economy that is the field.

We do not handle the weather, but our media and public management actions do.Putting more brake on the development of the economy for a party myopia is something that we cannot afford.Paraguay should not be a spot of war for any political faction.And personally, I think that many of those who activate in “politics” are currently not perceiving that much of the electoral mass, which will make decisions at the end of the year and April 2023, will be young people under 22 years old.That is, citizens who the only thing they analyze with great care is the concrete proposal presented to the realization of their dreams.

It must be reiterated that many of the "political" actors still do not understand that what this mass of young people wants to be a priority is to "work with dignity and develop".And this will be done only if Paraguay is transformed and continues on a path of being a serious, reliable and responsible country.We will not do a better Paraguay if they continue to think that the country is simply an intrapartid war loot and between the parties.
