AIQBE opens 2022 with the incorporation of Alter Enersun as a full partner |Haonomia.es - Huelva Economic and Business Information
The Association of Chemical, Basic and Energy Industries of Huelva (AIQBE) opens the new year with the incorporation of Alter Enersun as a new full partner.With this new accession, the association adds a total of 19 companies and 20 plants, reinforcing the sector at regional and national scale.
Alter Enersun, created in 2009, is one of the reference companies in the renewable energy sector, especially in the field of the use of solar energy through photovoltaic plants.Its activity covers the entire value chain, from the development of solar parks, their design, promotion and installation to exploitation, operation and maintenance, as well as project acquisition.
In total, the company has more than 140 renewable energy generation plants distributed throughout Spain, Portugal and Mexico, which add numerous projects in a state of development or acquisition.
José Luis Menéndez, president of AIQBE, has affirmed that this incorporation “is a great opportunity for the whole of the Huelva industry thanks to its commitment to renewable energy.In addition, in 2021, another 50 MWP has launched with its plant, opened in June last year, called ‘Huelva 2021’, and located in the Huelva capital, so its commitment to our territory is undeniable ”.
With this adhesion, the Huelva chemical industry is strengthened as one of the top exponents of the sector, and affects its objective of achieving a sustainability -oriented activity through best practices.
Aiqbe currently has 19 members, which together add 20 production plants in the municipal terms of Huelva and Palos de la Frontera, and make up the most significant nucleus of Andalusian industrial activity and one of the most important in the country.
