Prudence led the management of the Real Aeroclub de Santiago to cancel its traditional dinner-dance, and they also did so to put an end to the uncertainty of not knowing what decision the clinical committee would make. Other establishments in Santiago were yesterday awaiting the conclusions of the meeting to decide between cancellation, modification of the conditions of the parties and even to decide whether or not dinners are limited to guests staying in hotels. This is the case of Araguaney and Puerta del Camino. In the hostel they already decided to reserve it for guests days ago.
Thor Rodríguez, from the Compostela Hospitality Association, assures that the uncertainty created by “the lack of clarity in the measures” caused the sector to “resort to prior reservation with payment or not.” Reserves that are sold out, "so those who have a ticket will move from one place to another looking for a place that will not be there, or they will end up in private parties without control." Sergio Fernández, from Século XXI, spoke along the same lines, predicting that "50% two locals will pay or 31 if they reduce or capacity even more, people will go to private parties."

In any case, the mayor insisted that the final decision about the rules that will govern the New Year's Eve party, which will feature the Paris de Noia orchestra, will be adopted following the guidelines set by the clinical committee.
