Unidos Podemos and two of the main partners of the Government, ERC and EH Bildu, will request on Wednesday a joint request to create an investigation commission on the "sexual aggressions in childhood and adolescence by members of the Catholic Church".

The request of these three parties comes just a week after the Spanish Episcopal Conference opened to investigate the abuses committed by the Spanish Church.A decision that came after the meeting held by the Spanish religious leaders with Pope Francis.

Sofía Castañón, attached spokesman for Unidos Podem."To talk about a truth, justice and reparation for victims who suffered these sexual abuse in their childhood, what is necessary is that it is a commission that question the legislative field," he said, in statements to the press in Congress.
